So I have a dilemma

Usually I am 3 days late for my period and it’s been like this for almost 7 months but today I woke up and noticed some brown discharge my period is supposed to start in 2 days. Could it be implantation or is it actually starting on time. Could I actually be pregnant after a year of trying and convincing myself I’m infertile
