How to tell a guy you’re a virgin?

I’m 26 and a virgin and I feel like guys my age just assume I’m not and all they want to do is hook up. How do I tell the guy I am kinda seeing that if we did have sex it would be my first time?
I just never focused on boys and relationships before so I’m a late bloomer. I feel like guys think there’s something wrong with me if they know though..

Girl, I was a virgin till my wedding day at the age of 35! And I actually didn't start dating until I was around your age because I was locked in on my career goal (which was achieved). So don't feel any kind of way about being a late bloomer. 
The guys that I dated weren't bothered by the fact I was a virgin. They all continued to see me even when I told them I was waiting till marriage. 
So don't feel self-concious. If your revelation makes him run, isn't it better to know what he's made of before you get closer to him?

I didn’t have sex until 24 (my wedding night), but I had the sex conversation with my now husband probably 4 weeks after I met him, either right before or right after we started dating. I simply asked if he was a virgin, and I told him point blank that I was. I didn’t want to beat around the bush with anything. Just be honest, ask him first (even if you already know), and say exactly what you said, that your focus wasn’t on guys. There’s nothing wrong with that.

You can literally say exactly what you wrote “I was never focused on boys and relationships before” that is completely reasonable on why you are a virgin cause if you’re not focused on those things then you obviously won’t be having sex. 
So you can say something like “I was never really focused on boys and relationships before so yea I’m a virgin”

I was also a late bloomer, mainly just shy and didn't know how to get out of the friend zone. I started dating a guy when I was 25, and honestly...? I didn't tell him. I just knew I was ready and went for it. We didn't date long, but it was fun, and I have no regrets.

I was a late bloomer too... I told my husband that I was a virgin when we were dating. He was surprised, and we just took it slow when we finally did it. 
That was 10 years ago, you’ll be fine whoever is there for you will be. If a dude is weird about it and ghosts you or whatever the case is... just keep it moving.
