Less weight gain with second?

Question

I’m 37 weeks into my second pregnancy and have gained 16 pounds. With my first I gained 24 pounds and my son was large for gestational age and healthy. I’m worried that I haven’t gained as much with this one, but my doctor says I’ve been measuring on schedule at all my appointments. Anyone else have this experience? 
For background, I am 5’6” and was 130 lbs pre pregnancy.

I gained 40 with my first son and 25 with my second. They both weighed over 8lbs within 1oz of each other. So don’t worry too much!

I gained 45 with my son who was born at 34 weeks. So far at 28 weeks I’ve gained 12lbs. Doc said it’s fine and baby is growing fine

For sure! I gained 52 with my first and 32 with my second. I’m pretty sure chasing my first born was the reason I didn’t gain as much the second time around. I couldn’t eat and nap whenever I wanted/needed to. Lol

It’s okay to not gain weight. I gained 40 with my first and none with my second. I actually lost 10. And I wasn’t sick at all or anything. So it just happens.
