I know its recommended until a year. We did 8 months with my son. With him we only had a 1 bedroom so he had no choice to be in our room regardless. This one already has her own room. I'm having a c section, and with my first I was stuck on the couch for the first 7ish weeks. My bed was too high and was to hard to get in and out of. So baby will be in the living room with me to start. We wont ve getting a bassinet, because I found it a waste of money with my son, he wouldn't sleep in it. I wont be putting the crib in our room. My bed makes SO much noise at any little movement, plus the loud 5am work alarm for my SO. But I dont want to leave her so young in her room by herself. Anyone else have them in their own room from early on? I'm looking at getting a futon to sleep on for the first bit in her room, but just curious.
