he won’t quit going out to clubs/bars literally almost every day with his friends!

I don’t feel comfortable trying to work on things if he’s going to continue going out getting drunk with his friends almost every day. The bars he goes to with his friends is right next to a university. It’s all over just a trashy area. I don’t like it. I talked to him about it and told him I don’t feel comfortable with him partying so much while we try and fix things and he said I’m crazy and trying to control him? Am I really overreacting? He is 22 .. so I understand he wants to go out and have fun but? Not while trying to fix a relationship? Idk. I worry about him meeting someone new since we are in a tough spot right now but am I really crazy for not wanting him partying so much?
