My baby caught a cold recently and it got quite bad so I brought him to the hospital but he was fine in the end. As usual when baby catches a cold, it passes on to me and daddy. I don't know if I have the flu or a chest infection but I'm practically bed bound at this point. I feel like I've been hit by a truck and it feels as if someone is sitting on my chest as I struggle to breathe. My parents are taking are of my son as of now because I can't even lift him up for long nor can I play because I feel too weak. Is it normal to let someone else care for a baby whilst the mother is sick? I feel detached from him right now and I don't know if it's right. I feel like a terrible mother.
