Baby JayJay birth story
meet baby JJ.
PS: Birth Story: went into the hospital on 1/24/20 started the induction process at 39wks exactly due to decrease fetal movement (my whole pregnancy baby JJ wasn't so actived so my doctors thought as soon as she's 39wks it's best to take her out) so started the induction process at 10am on Friday(01/24/2020) at 12pm got my cervix checked and by surprise I was 0cm dilated (I was so disappointed/sad) they started me on some medicine every 2hrs for 24hrs I had to take this pill to help dilate me ..well on 1/25/20 on Saturday I got checked and ONLY went to 1cm. The next process was the Foley balloon (which I heard HORRIBLE stories about the pain) so my doctors worked with me and gave me the epidural then placed my cathedral in along with starting the pitocin on Saturday (1/25/20 at around 6pm) Omg pain started to kick in but the epidural helped 80% but was experiencing back labor. At 11pm that same night the Foley balloon fell out and I was at 4cm. (Yay I was excited, thinking we are moving along, I was wrong). So on Sunday at 7am they checked me and I was only at 4.5cm!!! The doctor said the process was moving slow so they decided to break my water and turn up the pitocin. Back pain went from a 3 to 6 REAL QUICK. So on Monday morning at 7am the obgyn team came in checked me(I swore I was at at least an 8 by the pain from my back....haha nope only a 5! 5cm!!! So they said I'm sorry but we are going to do a C-section and within the next hr or so. At that point I didn't care I was in pain and was ready for it to be over!! At 1040ish I went to the OR (operation room) and started the process. A lot of it was blurry due to the meds but at 12:43pm Monday evening my daughter J.M.R was born @ 8lbs even 19.5in long via emergency C-section. Stayed in the hospital for a whole week , had a horrible recovery but ALL pain was worth it!
