When are you telling your family?

Hey mamas😊 
With my first I told my mom and dad at 7 weeks (after I got my first ultrasound and heard the heartbeat). 
I was planning on waiting after the first ultrasound for this one too. But I’m not sure who would keep my 5 month old when I go to the doctor other than my mom because my husband works all day 😂 so I’m debating on telling them sooner.  
So when is everyone telling their parents/family?

I told my parents as soon as I found out with my first 2, but after a misscarriage in nov I'm not telling anyone until my 12 week scan. My partner doesnt even know yet lol xx

Told my parents 4 days after finding out and telling my in laws this weekend. We will make the public announcement at 12 weeks.

I told my bestie already, and I’m telling my mom this week (mailed her a valentines card).  Well announce publicly some time after my first appointment which is at 10 weeks.

We have decided to tell anyone that we would tell if we lost the baby, because they might as well share in the joy too!

With my first I told my mom when I was like 9 weeks and told my brother when I first found out but only because he had told me his wife (girlfriend at the time) was pregnant as well so we got to be the first to share the news together , I regret that now because even though I was married and living in my own place with my husband; he asked if I thought about abortion, was super hurt and insulted. He only asked because since him and he girlfriend at the time were not planning there's nor living together he was thinking it for himself. Was upsetting either way.
  But second time around waiting till at least 12 week scan to tell anyone. I'd keep it a secret longer if I could but my family catches onto things fast lol

We’ve told everyone but my employer, we are 4.5 weeks pregnant.
Our daughter is 5, so she wasn’t going to keep it secret for long anyway. I’m also showing quite a bit and already in maternity clothes.  I decided I was comfortable with everyone (family, friends, and school teachers) because they’re on this journey with me. If we lose the babies they might as well know that too. I won’t be the same afterward anyway and at least they will know why.
