I began labor at home around 830p having contractions about 5 times an hour. I tried sleeping but woke up at 2am having contractions about 10 mins apart for 30 secs. My midwife told me to go back to sleep and call when they were 5 mins. I woke up again at 530a from having contractions, sat in the tub for about 40 mins, the contractions were much more bearable. I went to sleep again until 715a, called my midwife and was told to come in with contractions 5-6 mins apart lasting 50-60 seconds. By the time I got to the center I was already 8cm dilated 😳. I arrived at 907a. I birthed all natural except receiving the oxygen mask in the last 10 mins of pushing. Baby and I were losing oxygen and I had to push her out quickly. I hung in there breathing through the contractions but the last 30 mins were extremely difficult, I almost quit. I gave birth at 1224p.... she’s perfect 💚
