Bed sharing safely? Seems to be the only way my little one will sleep

In the US we seem to think it’s the worst thing you can do, but many cultures do it all night every night. I think you should use your best judgment, but if you’re not a super deep sleeper and can do it safely it’s fine. My son starts in his crib every night, but when he wakes to nurse he comes in our bed. Sometimes that’s 12:30, sometimes 4:00. I work full time and it has made it so much easier for everyone to sleep. 
Ultimately, you decide for your family what you’re comfortable with. Everyone is different. 
It works for us now.

My girl sleeps in a floor bed in our room for most of the night. We bring her into bed with us when she wakes early morning and manage to get a few extra hours of snuggly sleep ❤️

My babe coslept from 2 weeks to 4.5 months.  He HATED his bassinet.  We will still bedshare whenever we take trips and have to sleep in a hotel or guest room.  I also have ZERO shame in bringing my son in bed with my every morning at 4am to nurse so I can get one more hour of sleep, or 2 more on the weekends.

Not the entire night but every time regression hits or gas pains I try to do rocking chair then her bed and if that isn’t successful then with me in bed and then I try her bed in a few hours. Crazy nights 🤦🏼‍♀️

We bed share. I did with my oldest. We didn’t do it with my second son and we were all miserable the first year, and now we bed-share with our daughter!! I am a light sleeper. Always have been. Dad works a rough schedule, so it’s usually just me and her. I have received a ton of crap for it, but I know what’s best for me and my family, so I tell everyone else to do what’s best for them and theirs.

He sleeps next to me in my bed. As long as it's done safely its fine.
By this age babbies can fully move their bodies

I do bedshare when we are in our inlaws/my parents house because she wont sleep in pack n play. At home she is in a sidecarcrib

Yes I’ve always co-slept but I’ve not had my partner in bed with us (he works away) I’ve a baby bed in my bed low side bumpers she’s higher than them if that makes sense just so we don’t roll into each other. It’s always been the most natural way for me to sleep and for my babies. Been doing it for nearly 17 years. Done safely I think it’s fantastic x
