Crying when peeing?

Question

Since birth,  my daughter turns red and screams her head off every time she pees. At her 1 month,  the pediatrician wasn't concerned,  no temperature. But now we're at 8 wks,  and it's still going (breastfed).
Anyone else have this?  I know she hates a wet diaper,  but peeing/sharts shouldn't hurt.  Nothing is red or inflamed looking.

Go back to her pediatrician & ask them to test her for a UTI.

Did the pediatrician test her urine for a UTI?

I brought her in today,  since there's been no fever,  and ongoing over a month,  that it isn't likely to be UTI. And they didn't want to run a catheter unless they had to.  Recommended in the mean time to try different diaper brand (i've used different kinds. So I don't think that's it)  and/or to loosen the diaper around her belly because maybe that's causing the discomfort.
