Co sleep stop

Do my little is 5 months old and she still wakes up about 4 times a night. A couple of nights I went through falling asleep with her nursing. So it turned into co sleeping. I would like her to sleep in her own bassinets but she just crys and wakes up if put her in it. I don't want to transition to her crib in her room yet due to waking up 4 times a night. I guess I am just a lazy mom because I dont want to get up and go in her room to pick her up. Aslo tried the let them cry it out method and sooth them at times. Didnt work on her she just kept screaming and never calmed down. Went on for almost 2 hours. Did anyone go through this? How did you get them to sleep through the night and in own bed.
