Brazilian Wax After Vaginal Delivery?

Has anyone done this? I’m still sore from “vaginal wall relaxing” it’s pretty much the MOST  sensitive area in a wax. It has the most nerves. I’m wondering how long to wait...

So I’ve been waxing consistently since I was 18, I’m almost 27 now. I waxed all throughout my pregnancy and yes it hurt more than all the other times. I waxed right before labor so it was smooth and would last me postpartum. And then I gave birth. I had a 2nd degree tear with stitches and I couldn’t even IMAGINE getting waxed postpartum. Omg it was so sensitive even after the stitches healed. For the first time in 9 years I gave up on waxing for about 7 months, that’s when it started to feel normal again. I got pregnant again 7 months postpartum and I went back to waxing but I will say that first wax after birth felt sooo weird, even though I was healed, I know they pull in places that have already been through the ringer during birth and it did feel different. I’m currently 37 weeks with my second and have gone back to waxing consistently and waxing finally feels back to normal. But I will say it took a while before I attempted waxing for the first time after delivery, like I said I waited 7 months, I resorted back to shaving in the meantime. I can’t imagine if I would’ve got waxed sooner postpartum. I cringe at the thought of that pain but only you know your body best! I’m just sharing my personal experience 🥴

I waxed constantly before I became pregnant and while I was pregnant. I waited 6 weeks before I got waxed but I would have waited longer since I was still healing and felt like I had to pee.

I get regular Brazilians including while pregnant, I had a second degree tear after labor and couldn’t imagine wax being there so at 6 weeks pp I only got the bikini line done, I did full Brazilian at 2 and a half months pp and that felt okay.
