4 follicles at 11mm, doc said 3 max
My first fully medicated fertility cycle. Starting with timed intercourse before trying anything more medically involved.
Took 5mg letrozole when they confirmed my lining was thin and I had several small follicles on each ovary without cysts present (cd3).
Went in today (cd9) and had 4 responding follicles, 2 on either side, at 11mm. They said it needs to only be 3 to move forward with treatment, but they were growing slowly.
They gave me gonal rff (fallitropin) to get the follicles to grow a bit but I’m doing 75 units tonight and 50 units in 2 days to try and not have all 4 follicles mature.
Anyone had a similar experience?
I’m worried that I’m paying $250 a visit for them to say “sorry we can’t do it”. I’m ok with the idea of multiples since we’ve had so much trouble with our first, but it doesn’t look like they will let me trigger if I have more than 3...
