I was scheduled to get induced Feb 19th at 38w due to my chronic hypertension and baby was measuring big! I went into labor Sunday Feb 2nd around 5AM my labor was 14 hours and I pushed for almost 1 hour I couldn’t feel anything at all due to the epidural. Baby measured 7lbs 3oz which is a good weight for his gestational age. I got a fever a few hours before I delivered my baby and I passed it on to him, he got blood drawn right away to check for any infection 2 hrs after delivery doctor came in and said he had to be moved to NICU because there was a sign of infection it was the worst thing the could’ve told me at that moment!!! And to make it worst I couldn’t see him until after 24hrs after delivery do the the fever I had. Fast forward to some hours later my baby had to be on oxygen and under the blue lights for jaundice and hooked to an IV it was heartbreaking seeing him like that but luckily today they took him off the Iv and oxygen hes also eating really really well on his own and peeing and pooping how he should,!

we are now waiting for his jaundice levels to drop and he’ll be able to come home I just pray to god he makes a full fast recovery 🙏🏼 I miss my baby boy so much!
