Ovulation spotting?

I have never had ovulation spotting before. Earlier today I took an OPK and it was ALMOST positive but not quite. And now I’m having some spotting? It has me worried because I only ever have spotting the day before a period starts. And I’m super irregular with it. I’m already feeling discouraged 😔
