How do you get over someone you never dated?

I posted on here last week asking for advice on how to cut a guy off. I'd been talking to him since April 2019 and he still claimed he wasn't ready for a relationship all now. I cut him off on Friday and had been managing to hold up until he sent me this message this morning.

I find it strange that he can claim to feel that way and still not be ready. I broke down when he sent me that. How can I get over him? I told him I just need some time and I would appreciate if he respected it. How do I get over him?? I like him SOOOOO much. 😭😭😭😭

You are entitled to your feelings s especially since he dragged you alone only to not commit. What helped me in a similar situation was just telling myself that this relationship was NOT meant to be despite what “feelings” we may have had for each other. And that a better, more fulfilling relationship would be waiting for me and I would never find that relationship dwelling over someone I’m not meant to be with. I also focused a lot on myself—exercising, my hobbies, my friends and family, meditating, reading, learning new things. Find yourself! Time will heal you and you will know your worth
