My baby girl will be 12 weeks on saturday. She HATES tummy time. She just buries her head in the couch, bed, or mat where ever I try to do it at. We went to her regular 2 month checkup and because she didnt bring her head up when they pulled her up with her hands and didnt lift her head on her tummy, they are saying she needs therapy. However, when sitting up she holds her head up beautifully and on my chest she will lift her head and look at me. Turns her side to side just fine. I just thought that all babies do things differently and at different times but the pediatricians are making me feel like I have no idea how to raise my baby (i have 3 older boys, that are perfectly normal and healthy, and they too HATED tummy time) I just wanted opinions of other moms and to see if there is others out there that their little ones hate being on their belly.
