Does melatonin affect ttc??

Ive been taking melatonin for 3 yrs to help sleep quality... unexplained fertility here for almost 3 yrs.... could it be? I take the lowest dose i will not take it this month

I’ve read it can negatively affect ovulation for people not using ovulation stimulation meds. However, if you’re doing medications and trigger shots, it can be good for egg quality, and the meds prevent it from affecting your ovulation.

I looked this up as well and found out it’s actually good for regulating cycles .

No clue, wish I knew. I was taking Benadryl for years and was told by my dr to stop so switched to melatonin almost a year ago. Was hoping it would help with my unexplained infertility also. So far no.
