Any vet techs or vet experienced?

I just noticed this on my dog this morning. 
I know he didn’t have it a few days ago. Should I take him in or see if it clears?
Ignore his dirty hair he is a messy boy.

Update: he’s going to the vet tomorrow morning thank you everyone !

OK first of all he is adorable.
Secondly, because it's right by his eye I'd rather take him to a vet just to make sure it's treated properly... Don't want to risk him losing an eye.

It’s not emergency vet status but it looks like a cyst and you don’t want it to pop in his eye or become infected so yes you should make an appointment
