Short cervix and doc follow up

So i went in yesterday afternoon after experiencing a gush of fluid Monday evening.

Well i called at 8:30am and then again around 12. Didn’t hear anything back until 3. Well they wanted to see me so i went in. My fluid and baby are fine but they measured my cervix. It was considered short with my daughter and i was on progesterone and modified bed rest.

Well the nurse practitioner recommended bed rest until my doctor followed up with me this morning. Well here it is 1pm and I’ve called and left a message and still haven’t heard from them.

I feel needy and like I’m over stepping but we also have plans to go out of town next week to visit family and i have an almost 3 year old. So I’d like a game plan as what to do next!

Anyone else have any insight as to what they might consider with my short cervix at only 16 weeks? Last time i was closer to 20 weeks when they discovered this.
