so apparently where i live , the only “dating scan” i receive is at 20 weeks. according to my midwife , they can “date the pregnancy” but can’t put it in the notes. before i switched to a midwife i was receiving care from an obgyn , i went at exactly 9 weeks and she dated me a day ahead and gave me a due date of july 20th. when i went in at 13+2 she said i was still measuring the exact date. when i switched to my midwife she told me because they can’t date me in records she’s basing it off my period and instead of being 16+2 i would be 16+1 and wrote of my due date to be the 21st of july.

i am getting a private gender scan on monday and ill be exactly 17 weeks based off the obgyn who has been consistent about my july 20th due date since 9 weeks. or i’ll be 16+6 if i base it off my midwife who hasn’t given me an ultrasound and who doesn’t believe the obgyn and is using my period to give me a due date

are either dates okay for a gender ultrasound ? or is it too early ?
