Nope artificial melatonin can inhibit their bodies ability to produce it on it's own causing them to rely on artificial sources forever. Get your kid on a good diet, exercise and bed time routine.

I mean you can ,,,,, but you’ll mess up their ability to produce it on their own as they should.... I honestly don’t believe kids should take it .

Not unless we tried other therapies after being diagnosed with an actual sleep disorder. I have a sleep disorder, tried multiple therapies, at my worst I took melatonin every night and it helped but it made me quite an angry person depending on dosage/how I took it. I'd avoid it unless it was the only option.
