I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for school. I left the house quite quickly hoping I’d see Amanda on the way to school. I didn’t. Once I got into to school I was standing with my best mates play fighting, I looked over and saw Amanda she was looking at me in what seemed like a daydream, once she noticed I was looking at her he snapped her head away and spoke to her friend. I smiled to myself.

The day really dragged on, I was sat in Biology watching the clock tick away until I was distracted by the door opening. It was Amanda and some boy.

“You alright sir?” She said smiling.

“Yes I am Amanda, but why are you in here?” Mr Oakwood replied.

“Got sent out” Amanda laughed

“Well what for?” He asked

She quietly mumbled something and then sir sent her to sit down. Next to me. About 5 minutes in I turned to her.

“What did you do to get sent out then?” I asked.

“What makes you think I did something bad?” She said

“Sir looked annoyed at you.” I said

“Oh yeah, you see that boy over there, I threw a textbook at him” she said with a sparkle in her eye.

“I don’t believe you” I said

She smiled and honestly I melted inside.

“Oi Tom!” She shouted

“What bitch” he replied

“Did I throw a textbook at you?” She said

Tom nodded.

“See?”
