Gestational Diabetes

Question for those that have been put on medication. My fasting numbers are a bit high between 94-100, that is too high for my doctor and she wants me on medication if they don’t improve over the next week. Are those number really that high? I was reading that under a 100 is still ok. Not sure if I should refuse insulin for now or not.
