Hey guys I am 24 years old. The last few months I have been bleeding pretty consistently. But most of the time it's just like a light brown spotting. And mostly just when I wipe. I've been trying to keep track of it. And it seems to be about 3 weeks of the light brown spotting, 1 week of the normal bleeding (not heavy at all) then about 1 week with nothing at all. I am not on birth control but have been previously. I was on it for about a year, then I had no bleeding for almost a year then this started. It happened once before. I was on birth control, got off, almost a year later brown spotting for a couple months. I was too scared to go to the doc, so I just started birth control again. And it stopped. So that's what makes me think it is a hormone issue. My periods have always been crazy. Ever since I started when I was 12. I've never had a normal cycle. I've looked things up. Of course they say cancer. I am TERRIFIED. I have an appt with my gyno on the 2nd of March. But have never been to one 🤦‍♀️ has anyone else experienced this? I'm hoping I just have like a hormone imbalance. But I, like lots of people always assume the worst. I am overweight by like 20 pounds. Not very physically active. I don't know if that would change anything. I'm just hoping other people have experienced this and can ease my mind a little, hopefully?!
