How long until your husband felt like you with your baby?

Hi everyone, 
I am pregnant, already loving my baby so much. My husband doesn't feel the same way, he says he hasn't met our baby, he can't love him as I do. Actually he is scared, we will never learn to love him. I have read stories of parents who don't love their child until they are two or three. I wanted to learn about your husband's experiences. Thanks!

My husband didn’t have a connection to our son until he was born. Now he’s 9 weeks old and my husband is head over heels and loves to hold him and kiss him

I’m 5 months pregnant and it’s veryyyy annoying that my husband doesn’t seem as excited as me and it kind of hurts my feelings but then I remember that they can’t experience anything that the mother does while she’s pregnant, all they see is our big bellies lol don’t be too hard on him, I learned not to the hard way. My hubby started crying and I felt horrible 😭 I heard they don’t know how much they love them until they see them for the first time❤️

My hubby was responsible witg the preparation and stuff, & he got excited when he finally felt him kick. But that was about it. Once baby was born, forget it. The guy became obsessed and protective (in a good parental way) with this little boy ❣️ give him time to develop his own bond with baby.

Even the first few weeks for my husband we’re tough. My husband absolutely melted when my daughter was about 8 weeks and started smiling now she’s almost a year old and a complete daddy’s girl.

The second she was born. It's an absolutely amazing moment and I'm sure your husband will feel all sorts of things the first time he sees your baby.

The first few months were really tough for my partner with our son... he was breastfed so he naturally wanted to be near the boobies, even pumping and daddy feeding with a bottle didn’t go too well.
He really started bonding and interacting with our son around 5-6 months as baby started having solids and became less dependant on me.

My husband was like that with my first. Once the baby is born everything changes in a good way.
