On to a new cycle - My new approach
I was pretty sure that I conceived this cycle, I wasn’t experiencing my normal PMS symptoms, no bloat, no soreness, only small random bouts of nausea, increased libido, and a change in my sleep schedule. But nope, I got my period early this month.
I’m disappointed but more annoyed with myself. Why did I get my hopes up? Again? I’m over analyzing everything and only get upset when it doesn’t happen.
So, I’m going to actively try to change my TTC habits. I’m not testing early anymore, I’m not going to symptom spot, and I’m going to be more laid back about this process. But I’m going to make a few changes too,
- I’m going to start working out 4/5 days a week again for 30 minutes and convince my husband to join me.
> I’m in the “healthy” range in the BMI thing so it’s more for maintaining and well being. Also, I have started enjoying working out, I never thought this would be possible...
- Start eating healthier, make sure both my husband and I are getting enough vegetables and fruit.
> We should do this anyways, we’ll save money AND be healthier.
- BD every 2/3 days before and after fertile window, and everyday during fertile window.
> but if for some reason we can’t do this, I will try not to be disappointed.
- I’m going to pick up an old hobby I enjoyed, focus on our move, and all of our DIY plans once we get into our new house.
- and finally, I’m hoping to just relax about the process, it’ll happen when it happens, we are taking the necessary steps to get there so we will (hopefully) get there.
> if we can’t conceive naturally, there are other options out there. We will have kids one way or another, it may just be a matter of time.
