Is it normal for the OB to not do an ultrasound at the first appointment and refer you out elsewhere? I was really looking forward to my appointment today because I was under the impression that I would get an ultrasound, but that was not the case. Did anyone else experience this? Luckily I work on the hospital campus so I can run over to imaging tomorrow, but for someone that doesn’t have that luxury it seems like it could be a major inconvenience.
