We went over to my MIL no big deal. Everything was fine until my husband said he was gonna buy his dads truck ( he would never in a million years sell it. Its his baby and he just got it about 3 weeks ago and it had been his dream car!) my SIL got so mad because she wants it, and just started bring shit up. What really i mean extremely triggered me was when she said “ people who dont have any responsibilities are the ones that have money to buy cars, you see me i have to pay all my bills” and im just like

We were both teen moms. Shes older than i am about 6 years. It triggered me because her parents took care of her daughter until she was 25! They stopped halfway through last year. She never had a job ever and that’s one thing that like really made me upset because her parents would talk to me about it because they could not afford to take care of this child like her parents would cry and do anything they could to get money because they themselves were extremely poor they could barely afford groceries yet alone buy her kid formula and clothes and diapers. They were completely disappointed because she wouldn’t even try. Well they made her get a job. They got her 6 cars!! Why?? Because she wrecked them all.

I got with my boyfriend my freshman year of highschool and he had to go to work to help his parents and also help buy her child diapers. Well my senior year i got pregnant. And what blew my mind was how a year later my bfs car broke down and he asked his parents if he could borrow 1 car for a couple hours to go to work while his car was getting fixed at the shop and they were extremely cocky and said no. About 2 days later his parents get her sisters boyfriend (who rejected his child and was never in the picture but suddenly pops up) 2 cars so he can choose which one he wanted. I had never seen my boyfriend cry so much and my heart truly ached for him. As of last year they have brought them a 4 bed 2 bath house and have completely renovated it for them. Now they live rent free.

So yea i get that im 20, but me and my boyfriend took care of our responsibilities. We have never relied on our parents . We were able to get 3 cars, so far we have payed off one and are almost done with the rest in 2 months. Yes we dont have our own house but we rent and have a roof over our head. And we have everything that we need and we are proud to say that we did this shit on our mf own. Just because your older dosent mean im any less . Next thing on our list is to get our own place which will probably be in the next 3-4 months because we don’t want to be in debt.

Point is they will always favor his sister because she is the only girl and its a “disadvantage in this world because its unfair and she didn’t choose to be a girl”

They even favor her children. My son notices and he is 2. Thats why he acts so distant from them and hates being around them. They have been nothing but disappointed in me and their son when we have gone above and beyond in everything that we do. Im about to graduate nursing school and i just can’t wait to rub all my accomplishments in their face.
