So, 4 months ago my daughter was sick for literally an entire month. It was awful and after like a week of her being sick I got so paranoid about what if it’s the worse of the worse 😫

Basically, she was just randomly throwing up with a fever ALL THE TIME. She was dizzy, couldn’t walk bc so dizzy. She was losing her hearing (I didn’t put this together with her being sick until later though) as time progressed she started complaining of constant tummy and belly aches. (Which the dr later on said tummy problems from all the meds she ended up going through)

She was losing weight.

I took her to the dr Multiple times

1sr visit literally said “throat looks a little red , here’s some amoxicillin “

(Negative for flu/strep)

*keep in mind he checked ears

2nd visit was to the ER on the weekend bc she spiked a high fever and dizziness/puking while a few days into taking the amoxicillin. Er doctor shrugged it off and got ill when the flu/strep came back negative bc I told her it was going to. She sent us on the way with nausea meds and said go to the dr Monday. 🤦🏼‍♀️

3rd visit my baby girl had pretty severe hearing loss at this point. She was feeling rough.

Different dr this time, heard symptoms, looked in ear and said she has an inner ear infection. The amoxicillin prob just wasn’t strong enough to reach it.

*failed hearing test by a long shot

4th visit hearing is better but puking and belly hurt continues

*dr said it’s not related. Stomach bug. But at the same time says too many meds over the month and take a break on her antibiotics then start them again

So FINALLY my babe is well again thank u god. But starting about 2 weeks ago her hearing has started going again! And she still randomly complains of belly hurting and headaches.

(I have picked her up from school after nurse calls about the headaches/belly ache and took her to dr dr basically shrugs it off)

*she has dr visit for the hearing , to do another test just looking to see if anyone has gone through something similar
