So we recently tried room sharing with our oldest two. By oldest I mean a 3yo and 20mo old. 😂 Went horribly. 🤦🏼‍♀️ So we switched my son back to his room and started putting the baby and her sis together. Well during the time the oldest were together my 3 year old learned to climb out of her crib (shockingly for the first time). Now my husband is concerned about her getting out and trying to help the baby or putting things in her crib like she did with her brother. My oldest pretty good at listening and caring for her little siblings and we explained to her not to ever get out of her crib again and she hasn’t. I’m not that worried about it because she’s very careful and knows her baby sister is still very little.

So that said, has anyone ever put a 3 year old and a 2 month old together? How did it go? Should we not worry? Or put her back in our room?

The big reason is my husbands sleep. He’s swings at work at a high stress job and having her in our room was messing with him a lot. He couldn’t even come home and relax and come to bed when he wanted. He was sleeping on the couch for the last month essentially.

Hoping this room sharing works! Cuz if it doesn’t that means we HAVE to move sooner then we would maybe like to. 🤦🏼‍♀️
