Why would a completely healthy 9 month old need blood work? I forgot to ask her pediatrician but I plan to call in the morning. Did your pediatrician require blood work?

I’ve heard some states do lead testing and they also test for iron lvls. No need to worry

There is a test at 9 months in MA for lead since there are so many old buildings here. I don’t know about other states.

We didn’t need bloodwork. Speaking of lead, we did have to fill out paperwork work about any possible lead exposure. They should be required to tell you what it’s for.
