Mil???

Question

For those of you that don’t have a good relationship with your mil and your mil does not live too far from you... How often to you let her see your kids?

Once a month... she lives 5 minutes  up the road 😄

About once a month. It was more because I didnt want to let my issues get in the way of my daughter having a relationship with her grandparents but then they royally screwed that up so they're on probation as I call it lol

My in laws live a mile down the street. They probably see my daughter at least 5 times a week. They take care of her one of those days for us when we’re at work. The other days she either asks for them or we just go see them!

They see her every 6 weeks or so, they live half an hour away

Currently pregnant and moving to be closer to my MIL so she can babysit for us on a regular basis. I know I’m lucky because she is amazing. This is her first grand baby and she’s going to be a great grandma.

Once every 2-3 weeks. She wants more and wants me to bring her over to their house but I don’t feel comfortable as they don’t really take covid seriously.

Mine lives on the same street 🙄 I can't wait to move. She sees our daughter most of the time 1-2 times per week for about an hour or two. Im sure if would be more if I let her, but I don't like her. 
Main reason I don't want her over there more is they smoke in the house and it bothers the fuck outta me. I refuse to let our daughter stay the night. We visit outside as much as possible.

My MIL is pretty crappy as a person, but good to the kids. My sister in laws each have cut the 2 kids out of any extra visiting. So they do maybe like once a month. Both of my sister in laws are SAHMs. I’ll probably follow the once a month thing or when I feel like is right. I know she will try to see the baby all the time, but I’ll be working full time and don’t want to share my baby on my days off with the baby.

My MIL lives 10 minutes from me (with traffic). We don’t have a great relationship but it’s not bad. She used to want to be with my son once or twice a week but I started limiting it to maybe once every 2-3 weeks.

I’m not keeping my kid from seeing a grandparent as long as it’s safe. I’m just not the one who will be making the arrangements. My husband and his mother can make the time and plans themselves.
