Is anyone else baby daddy like this? I’m taking a shower and all i head is our baby crying his lungs off and he just leaves him there to cry. I’m sorry but i hate that shit! He’s a baby, you gotta soothe him and he falls asleep easily. Ugh. 
Then all he does is complain that he does this every night and he’s tired of it etc like really lmao. Am i trippen?

Well that's shitty. Gotta say though that tv won't help actually relax your baby and might make him overtired. Too bad your baby dad won't just sing or rock the baby... That's much more effective lol

No you’re not.. men are ridiculous I swear.. we have a natural instinct to want to soothe our babies and they just want them to stop crying and get frustrated when they don’t 😓 most men anyways. Our babies are still so young, they don’t typically self soothe yet

With this leap and sleep regression my son HAS to watch these god awful bob the train videos to fall asleep. I try not to give him much screen time but when it’s 4am you do what you have to do. Oh, and tell your baby daddy to stfu🙄

My husband is home on Wednesday’s with our LO and always comments on how she had a “rough” hour of wailing or something or if he has to put her to bed he’ll say “she was crying so much I just had to let her cry it out” and legit truth she NEVER has issues with me - she’s rarely upset and quite easy to soothe so I’m just like... tell me what you’re doing that is so different than me cuz that never happens! 
I don’t want to accuse him of not being nurturing but I think we mamas just know so intuitively what our babies need and how to nurture them best. My husband has the mentality that our LO “needs” to learn to tough it out but I’m just not on that same page when she’s such an easy going baby. When we cries it’s because she needs something. 
I also don’t want to make him feel like he’s an incompetent dad... I just try to model how to soothe her and gently offer advice on what I notice works best for her. Our baby is so loved and has all of her needs met. We just parent a bit differently and it’s hard for me at times to let go of the control I want to maintain.
