We’ve moved 3hr drive away from family and friends. But I’ve always managed to meet up with 1 friend in particular for the last 5 years, 2-3 times a year. She’s never visited me but always says she will. She’s become what I call ‘flakey’ over last 2 years..... putting it down to either coincidence or her mental health. Last time I heard from her was in November, her confirming her attendance at my babies baptism..... I sent her a Christmas card in December but never heard from her over the festive period.... then in mid January she doesn’t turn up to my daughters baptism 😞 (which was all local to her) and never heard from her. I can be okay with her being flakey on me but my daughters special day? Just no.... I’m sure she does have a reason but to not even let me know is incredibly rude.... I can’t move past it. What would you do with this friend?
