Birthday blues

Yesterday was my bday so my bf did not do anything special for me. He just acted as if it was a normal day. All i wanted was something small, not big . Just to show he appreciates me. It can be a chocolate or he can cook dinner. Something small ill appreciate that. And we stay together. I was sad. What do i do?
