I'm getting a lot of heat from other parents about not forcing my kids to play school sports. They have absolutely no interest but they're not couch potatoes. My son is 12 and LOVES to sew. He makes most of his and his sister's clothes and has made some for me. He wants to open a boutique someday. My daughter is 14 and is so passionate about painting. Our house is a literally gallery of her work.

But we still hear "he really needs to play baseball" or "she should being doing field hockey or something"

Why??
