So unfortunately due to a foot injury I am on sickleave from work... it is a sprain so I can go back whenever I am fully healed.. it is a foot that I’ve had two previous surgeries on so I do have to be very careful on going back when it’s fully healed versus almost healed.

Today I got my last pay from my work we don’t have paid sick days or vacation days☹️ my pay was really depressing due to taking time off work after my foot injury and I am $400 short on my paycheque.

I already applied for sickleave but I’m becoming very upset because I realize if I do go back and need to take take any more time off that my pay is going to now suffer.

I’m looking for a career change once I’ve done my mat leave I’m hoping to do daycare from home or something else I can do from home to stay home with my baby. Working a daycare has made me realize that my baby will never be in daycare… I just feel that it is so expensive and I don’t agree with a lot of things that happen in daycare! I’m so sorry for ranting ☹️
