Does anyone else HATE cutting little ones nails?

If you've found anything to make it easier please share. Also, I'm the ONLY one who does it. Except for when my MIL sees my baby. It probably seems to her like I NEVER cut them🙄. Luckily she's not judgemental about it, but it still makes me feel like I'm slacking!

I always cut my boy’s nail when he fall sleep in the car, this ways so easy, a lot of light during the day, I have a nail clipper in the car all the time, so whenever he fall sleep and need to trim his nail, make it so easy, I am the only one cut his nail too.

It’s the only time she’s allowed to watch baby shark on YouTube. Most of the time she’ll let me cut her fingernails if I let her watch the baby shark song but I have to be fast to clip them all before the song is over.

LO hates it so much... the only way I’ve found to get her to even sit through it is letting her watch something on the iPad (which she doesn’t get all that often so I think she feels like she’s getting away with something). It works ok, but not great.
Would love to hear other people’s tips/tricks because I noticed I probably need to trim them again today 😖

For some reason my son will sit completely still if my husband does it but if I try to do it it's the end of the world and he scream and fights me.

I hate it so much! I bought an electric nail filer for babies and it makes like so much easier for me!

I think my daughter finds it relaxing. She lays on her nappy change table and looks out the window. I count to 10 or sing a song. I explain what I am doing as well. She never had an issue with it.

I just chuck on his fav show for 5 mins then sit him on my lap and clip them, sometimes he sees what I’m doing and pulls away but soon gets distracted again 😂

We’ve made a little game with it and so I go “1,2, THREE! *clip*” and he will sit there and go “free!” Every time. It’s pretty cute. I used to have to distract him with a snack and a movie so he wouldn’t notice.
