Stopped birth control. Any chance that I can get pregnant soon?

Hello,
Almost 6 months ago I was on the birth control pill but I only finished one tablet and quit because of the side effects. Some months later my husband and I agreed that we were ready to welcome a child and we have been ttc since. No luck for now as I've only been getting negative results. Does the bc pills affect  ovulation and my cycle even if I took only one tablet and quit?

One month of birth control isn’t probably enough to make a big difference in your over all cycle. 
I’m going through fertility stuff right now, so just remember that there’s only a small window where you can get pregnant. For some couples, it just takes several months to get there.

You only finished one tablet and quit? Do you mean package? If you only took one tablet ever thenit ahouldnt affect you at all... bc takes at least 7-14 days before even working. If you were taking bc forawhile then id say maybe do a 3 day water fast to purge your system.  And then focus on overall mental, physical, emotional, and financial health to relax and ease yourself i to pregnancy. Eat whole foods and plant based foods for proper nutrition, prenatal with dha, and maybe take walks if u don’t exercise
