Off contraceptive pills for about a month now and trying to get pregnant. I still regularly had periods. Getting off the pill and trying to conceive can it cause my period to be late even though I always had a regular period?

Yes when you stop contraception usually your periods are not back to natural right away. They seem regular with the contraception but in fact they are not natural but provoked by the hormones. It can take up to 6 months before it’s back to normal.

I was regular before I started the pill and I got off mine back in October to start TTC and i've been irregular for the past two months now.. everyone's body reacts differently getting off it

Go e your body time to get back to normal I was on the pill and finished it last April and my periods have been up and down

Yes, your periods on the pill are just withdrawal bleed from the pill, when you stop your body needs to regulate by itself again and let out all those hormones, it can take months to get your period back after the pill unfortunately 😬 mine took 6 months to come back a few years ago and then it came every 2 weeks for 3 months then nothing for 3 months!! but this time it came back regular straight away so it’s always different 🙄 I think there’s something you can get from the Dr if it takes too long to come back
