Okay soooo a little backstory...

My husband and I have been together for 5 years.

He is a total redneck!!!

That’s FINE! And I love him for him. That’s why I married him right?! But anyways, every year around the holidays we get into a fight...

I want him to dress nice! Casual but nice!!!

He can wear his jeans and his boots. But they have to be clean, non ripped jeans. Not his work jeans that look filthy no matter how many times you wear them. And a clean shirt. (He usually wears a flannel. Which is FINE, he looks like a lumberjack lol)

But NOW!!! We are going on a cruise for the first time.

There is a FORMAL night. I’m not asking him to wear a suit and tie. I’m asking him to wear slacks, dress shoes and a polo shirt.

I asking for more like this ⬇️⬇️

But APPARENTLY.

I’m being ridiculous and he won’t wear that because only “yuppies” dress like that...

I don’t feel like I’m asking too much!!!

He said “ I don’t understand why I have to be uncomfortable for you to be happy”

Please be honest. Am I being ridiculous?!?!
