Okay so my bfs mom is so difficult. She is textbook manipulative and controlling mom who emotionally abuses her son. She’s been really rude to me recently to the point where she’s having a huge effect on our relationship. She says bad things to me about me to my bf behind my back, and I’ve seen her do it before to my bfs brother’s girlfriend (which eventually caused them to breakup). It ranges from little things like making rude comments about my appearance to bigger things like stopping my boyfriend from seeing me altogether. It’s gotten to the point where my bf isn’t affectionate with me anymore in front of her because she gets super jealous and then ends up being inappropriate with my boyfriend (yes, her SON!!!) by touching him on the thigh and weird stuff like that 🤢I’ve had so many conversations with my bf about it but because of the way she’s manipulated him growing up he finds it hard even though he tries his best to fight my corner. It’s getting to the point where she’s putting such a strain on our relationship but my bf struggles to see that because he thinks I just dislike his mom, no matter how I honest I reassure him that I don’t dislike her but what she’s doing to our relationship, because I see so many of her bad qualities that he doesn’t want to see. She’s definitely trying to break us up, but I don’t know what to do anymore. I need help ladies!!
