Orsythia birth control

I’ve been on orsythia for about a week and half now and I’m not sure if I like it. My period was 10 days late before I began taking this pill, and now everyday before taking another pill I’ll start bleeding and cramping. Should I just stop taking it? I had no issues with my period before while it was usually right on time and the only reason was to delay it for a trip I have coming up.... advice?
