Well.. this story starts way before i gave birth. Like me at 28 weeks pregnant. I had a bloody show and felt really bad back pain. I went to the hospital and they put the doppler on my stomach and monitored her while i got tested for amniotic fluid. They told me i was fine and discharged me and told me that intercourse would cause something like that even the me and my boyfriend didn’t want to do anything while i was pregnant. Especially when i got into my 3rd trimester. I tried bringing that up to them and they ignore and just kept insisting that was the reason. When i was 34 weeks pregnant on a Saturday i went back to a different hospital this tome for bleeding and feeling like i was leaking fluid. This time with the addition of contractions. They monitored me, checked if i was dilated and also did the test if i was leaking fluid. The test came ip negative they gave me a shot to stop contractions and discharged me. Sunday I didn’t go to hospital but my contractions were still not going away. Monday i had an appointment for more ultrasounds at a specialist. The specialist told me my fluid count was fine and that i could carry her all the way to my due date(January 24th 2020, it was currently December 16 2019 for timeline reference.) the next day on Tuesday my midwife told me because of how uncomfortable it was for me just to sit and how bad my contractions kept getting i was going to have her at any time. Next day on Wednesday, i went back to the same hospital for the same thing as Saturday but this time i got kept overnight because of my contractions and me being dilated to a 3. On Thursday i turned 35 weeks and also got discharged. I went home and took a nap. When i got up 2 hours later, i felt restless and jittery and my back hurt so bad. I tell my boyfriend to call his mom and ask her if we should go back to the hospital. When hes doing that i go to the bathroom. When i wipe i start losing blood clots and clear liquid. We immediately rush to the hospital 2 hours after i got discharged. The same dr was going to send me home and my midwife was on call and she ended ip putting me in labor and delivery. During the first 12 hours i get pain meds then my epidural and was still a 3 the entire time. Before my midwife has to shift change, she finds that i have a second water bag. She induces me and another dr takes over. After i got induced i was dilating pretty quickly. In three hours it was time to push. It took me five pushes and my beautiful baby girl was born. My 18 hour labor essentially started way before 34 weeks. I had her on December 20,2019 at 9:40 am 5 lbs 13 oz 19 inches long. And in those pictures she is making her favorite face 😊
