My doctor was super snippy about gender. We scheduled my anatomy scan for 21 weeks and I simply asked if that would show gender (I wanted to know if my husband should come) and she got really short with me “well it might but that’s not what the scan is for”. We opted out of the blood test because I was low risk for more in depth genetic testing and insurance doesn’t cover it. I want to know so badly and still have a month to go. :/ we had our last ultrasound at around 13-14 weeks and the tech didn’t say anything about gender. Before when she explained at the beginning of pregnancy she said I’d have a gender scan done. Now she’s been rude about it and acting like it’s not important. Not looking to spend the money on the online blood tests either.
