Has anyone had a tooth extraction?

I got a back molar extracted 2 days ago and I’m worried about dry socket. My wound looks completely closed over already

It generally takes a week for that kind of wound to completely heal. Dry socket can happen during this time but as long as you are following your dentists advice about not using straws etc, the risk is unlikely

I had a back molar pulled and a bone graft done and it takes almost 13 weeks before I will be fully healed mainly because of the bone graft. My boyfriend just got a tooth pulled and his did turn into a dry socket, this is something very painful and noticeable (you would know if you had one).  We bought gel to put in the whole off of amazon and it is healing over perfectly. Good luck!
