I got the copper iud back in December and this is only my second period with it but I’m not ever sure if I started my period or if it’s just spotting. Like today I was spotting/bleeding but the color of the bleed is more of a bright red then normal period blood if that makes sense. I feel like it wasn’t enough blood to be my period but it’s kind of a lot of blood for spotting. My last period I lightly spotted on and off the week before my period actually started and somethings the blood would look like normal period blood and other things it looked like a bright red/pink. Did anyone else experience this with the copper iud?? Is it possible for the blood to change colors after getting an iud?
