Contractions/water/diarrhea

What a topic title, huh?

Anyone else have this or have advice..

I’ll have tightness/contractions across my lower back and belly, so I’ll drink more water to try and lessen that. Well, when I do this, within an hour the water makes me have diarrhea. I’m just not sure how to keep the water in my body. I usually drink more water throughout the day, but it’s been the last week where I just can’t seem to hold it in me.
